poster critique

(Chasity's poster): This poster has great balance, as the silhouette of the person balances the weight of the text. The form and shape of the font and silhouette create visual interest. The texture in the background is also very neat and eye catching. The only thing I would have changed is maybe adding more colour, or a more saturated to the bg because it looks a little dull and might get lost when next to other, more colourful posters.

What is media

I would define media as any form of published art and or/visual representations. It can range from literature to film to graphic art or even television commercials. We're constantly exposed to media through advertisements, radio, and television. It becomes interactive when you buy a product because the commercial had a catchy jingle or you discuss the latest episode of supernatural with a friend. Media is an interactive medium when you go beyond just viewing it and moving on with your day. Media impacts your life by altering your hobbies, world views and interactions with others.  By choosing which mediums and genres of media you enjoy you can find people with similar views and interests.
